The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Sun and sky reflect in the mirror-glass facade of a tall building. San Diego, June 2009.
For normal prints, I recommend the following papers: "Picture Rag" (low texture), "Sumerset Velvet" (medium texture) and "Watercolor" (heavy texture). These fine art papers are thicker and are free of any sheen or gloss. The appearance of the print is far superior to any normal photo paper.
